This is grenache blanc, grenache gris and xarel·lo from the Penedes. Fresh, succulent and textural. Just wonderful, really.
Originally from the Loire Valley, Bruno Duchêne went from selling wild mushrooms to working with the iconic Frederic Cossard. Today, Bruno lives on the Côte Vermeille in Banyuls, tending to four hectares at an altitude of roughly 300m. The vineyards are extremely low yielding, steep and demanding. A cult producer. Tiny quantities.
