70 years old vineyards of Coda di Volpe at about 450 meters above sea level. Only a couple of days on the skins then it ferments and ages in chestnut barrels. Pure energy, impresses with fine tannins, marked minerality and a refreshing herbaceous note.
Cantina Giardino seek out old vineyards in Irpinia, high in the hills of Campania, preserving and championing local varietals. High altitudes, volcanic soils, organic farming and honest winemaking, Antonio and Daniela's wines are expressive of terroir and speak of place.
