La Bruja de Rozas – The Witch of Rozas – is a reference to the almost perpetually grey skies and eerie light typical of the area around the town of Rozas del Puerto Real. Sourced from several high altitude plots on granite soils, La Bruja displays the sort of high toned, delicate, lifted aromas of liquorice, pomegranate and raspberry that have made the Comando G wines so sought after. | Organically farmed, fermented with indigenous yeasts and subject to up to five months maceration, La Bruja receives just as much care and attention in the vineyard and winery as top cuvees. It represents an amazingly pure interpretation of the village of Rozas and is a fantastic way to get to know the Gredos wines.
Comando G is the joint project of Fernando Garcia, of Marañones, and Daniel Landi, of his eponymous label. Based in the town of Rozas del Puerto Real, high in the Sierra de Gredos, the Comando G team produce some of the most celebrated and sought-after wines in Spain.

Come curious. Leave with a new favourite.
We don’t tell you what to drink. You don’t need to know your varietals, regions or vintages, and you certainly don’t need to pretend you do. Tell us what you like, hate, what you’ve tried or curious about — we’ll take it from there. Sometimes the best bottle is the one you didn’t know you wanted.
