"Grown by the Trist family up in the hills of St. Andrews. Siltstone and mudstone soils with very little need for herbicide. Farmed using organic and sustainable practices.

Fruit is handpicked. Fermented as whole bunches with indigenous yeasts. The fruit is gently foot trodden over 8 days before being pressed to old oak. The wine lived in oak for 9 months before being bottled by gravity without SO2.

Sinewy with licorice and white & black pepper with green stem."

Cré wines consists of JonJo McEvoy, Oliver Johns, and Angus Hean. Our focus is on the Yarra Valley, sourcing fruit mainly from the Dixons Creek Valley that runs from the Great Dividing Range down to Highbow Hill. We also source fruit from vineyards in the upper Yarra and the Christmas hills for their unique climates and soils.
