"This is a more textural, richer style of muscadet, still with laser-like acidity and all the lovely sea spray and saline characters, but here a little more nougat, nuttiness and savoury yeasty character. Preserved lemon, some ripe apple, a nice crunch to the finish." - Paul Hervy

This little estate is located in Vallet, the heart of Muscadet, near the city of Nantes and not far from the Atlantic coast. The family vineyard has been running since the 17th century and Romain’s fatherstarted his first vintage in 1976. Romain is now taking over the estate and has converted most of the vineyard to organic practices. He has also been experimenting with a few of the cuvees since he came on board in 2007, blending modern winemaking techniques with traditional ones. A winemaker to watch in the coming years, making incredible and eclectic white wine from the famous Melon de Bourgogne variety.
