"The first vintage of this cuvée, Riesling Paradies is made from 60 year old vines from the Grand Cru Pfingstberg in the village of Orschwihr. These vines have been retrieved over the past year by Jean’s son, who has now started working with the family. The soil is Grèseux, which is one of the translations for the word sandstone. The wine was aged in foudre on fine lees." - Living Wines
