Rosato is a very complex rosé, from a direct pressing of de-stemmed aleatico grapes (no maceration). After just three weeks of fermentation, the wine was decanted into barrels of various capacities, to mature about a year on its own fine lees before bottling.
Gianmarco Antonuzzi & Clémentine Bouveron tend to 14 hectares overlooking Lago di Bolsena, the largest volcanic lake in Europe. With vineyards up to 600m above sea level, planted amongst olive groves and chestnut trees, Le Coste is home to a unique collection of microclimates rich in biodiversity.
