A very cool, granite strewn vineyard that produces vibrant, fresh, incredibly textured wines. The fruit comes from our vineyard in Baynton East, in the Macedon Ranges wine region. Located on the northern edge of Macedon Ranges, this is one of the only vineyards in the region that will get Shiraz ripe. Granite, decomposed granite, and sand, make up the soils. The vineyard, strewn with granite boulders, is set amongst rolling hills at 500m ASL, a very cool site. 

Trutta is inspired by our family's love of fly fishing. The connection one feels with nature when fishing a pristine high country stream, is something we hold dear. This connection to nature, and the growing seasons expressed in our vineyards, is what we strive to portray in our wines.
