From the name ‘Barba’ which means wise uncle in the local dialect. Typical wine from the Saluzzo hills, with a blend of Barbera and Chatus. Vines planted in the early ‘50s and ‘70s. Co-fermentation and ageing of these grape in a fibreglass and stainless steel.
Braccia Rese is based in Busca, at the foot of the Cuneo mountains Winery was founded in 2020 by Elia Lamberti, Livio Craveri, and Giovanni Cismondi. Elia was a designer, Livio a winemaker, and Giovanni a surveyor. The winery is based in Busca, at the foot of the Cuneo mountains, inside the Colline Saluzzesi overlooking Langhe. They work with native grape varieties, particularly Chatus, Neretta Cuneese and Quagliano. The company currently works 2.5 hectares of land, and all the vines are grown without the use of chemicals, only copper and sulfur. The founders want all their labels to have a strong identity and to make recognisable wines that make those who drink them discover new flavours. They believe in making wines that are true to their terroir and reflect their personal vision.
