Bush-vine Riesling from Frankland River, hand picked and foot stomped for the skins to soak in juice overnight, then basket pressed to natural ferment in sandstone Jarre and a couple of older barrels, left on full lees for 6 months. Maybe wine of the vintage for us. Bright straw hue. Bickford’s lime cordial, lemons and limes dipped in wild honey. Smooth but intense palate with amazing length.
Andries & Yoko Lüscher-Mostert are two of our favourite people in wine. Distinct, adventurous and always delicious, their minimal intervention wines from their home in Denmark, WA continue to impress. All their unique labels are painted by Yoko herself!
