Handpicked from a number of sites throughout the Great Southern, WA. A blend of 33% Vermentino, 23% Pinot Grigio, 18% Gewürztraminer, 18% Riesling, 4% Muscat, 1% Zibibbo, 3% Cabernet Franc.
With various skin-contact parcels ranging from 5 to 30 days on skins. Predominantly wild fermented & matured in stainless whilst 30% was wild fermented & matured in 1500L Slavonian oak foudres, the resulting wine remained on gross lees without adjustment for 6 months prior to bottling. Unfined & unfiltered. Minimal sulphites added before bottling.
AJ Hoadley mustn't sleep, putting out a mind-boggling number of unique wines each year, all of tremendous quality, intrigue and drinkability.
