"This Nebbiolo comes from a beautiful young vineyard completely surrounded by forest and planted over steep slopes some five hundred metres above sea level. It spent a month on skins, before being transferred to botti grandi for élevage. Polish champion snowboarder Olek Bondonio has quietly established a cult following from his old farmhouse in Barbaresco. He farms three and a half hectares amongst the region's top crus, utilising indigenous yeast fermentation and minimal intervention.
