Louis & Charlotte Perot farm two hectares of organic vines with a cool, dark cellar in a limestone cave just 30 minutes west of Cahors. They light the cave only with candlelight having decided that electricity would not be used. Sulphur is never added to the wines and they are not fined or filtered. The wines are dark but very fresh and with low alcohols. "From vineyard in Duravel that Louis and Charlotte have been farming since the outset of the project, this is a stunning and simply classical expression of Cahors. It's fresh and more-ish and gourmand and with the type of tannic framework that very much lends it to being enjoyed with or without food.
