"'Lille', an ode to Uffe's little nephew (Lille/Little) who was recently diagnosed with a brain tumour. For every bottle sold $2 will go to the Children's Cancer Foundation.

Sourced from the K1 Vineyard in Kuitpo, in the southern part of the Adelaide Hills where warm days are mitigated by the Fleurieu Peninsula. Organically farmed, though not certified. Handpicked Teroldego, foot stomped & cold soaked for 2 days. Pressed straight to old barriques for wild fermentation. The resulting wine remained in barrel for 10 months on gross lees. Bottled by hand, unfined, unfiltered & preservative free."

Pronounced "pop-el-vei", vej is the Danish word for street and poppel træ is Danish for poplar tree. Poppelvej is the street of poplars, named after the street in Denmark where sommelier-turned-winemaker Uffe grew up.
