2021 PÓŹNO Got Lost

A snapshot of the favourite things that happened in the winery for 2021. Some pent-up tightness in the Shiraz (gotta love that pong right?), soft and ripe roundness in the Merlot, and a sexy top note of peaches in the Gris. A red wine so carefree and in unison, making it easy to love and get lost in.
Getting the chance to work in the illustrious Borachio winery as head of cleaning, pressure washing, Hilux driving and bovine nourishment, the wines came about after seeking out new parcels of fruit from nearby growers, before claiming squatter’s rights over a corner of the shed. It’s a beautiful grey area and the perfect stitch up. PÓŹNO. It’s Polish for late. And the wines are always worth the wait.
