This is some of the best value chardy out there. TOP. NOTCH.
We did two picks from the vineyard from which we buy the fruit, which is less than 2km from us as the crow flies. The wine sees the same winemaking as Holyman: Stirred while fermenting, then left to sit on full solids for a couple of months before bottling. There is some cashew and nectarine on the nose. The palate is full and fresh. It undergoes no malolactic conversion, and so has zingy acidity that drives the wine through your mouth. The finish is long and tight.
