Valli Unite, born in 1981 as certified organic cooperative of work in Costa Vescovato, in the southern-east part of Piedmont region. From the strong determination of 3 young farmers to resist to land abandon and stay in agriculture, joined very soon from people with different culture, study and professional skills, to enable a different life style, where income is not the main value.
Valli Unite today is a group of 35 people working 100 hectares. 25 of them at vineyard, the rest pasture, forage, cereals, vegetable garden and wood. Since 2007, Alessandro Poretti has arrived at the cooperative, an ambitious man with excellent ideas, strongly convinced that he wants to produce wine in the most natural and authentic way possible. From that moment new techniques were adopted: spontaneous fermentations, very few filtrations and little use of sulphites.
