Pet Nat in a can – could it get any more raucous and fun? Made from Albarino and Chardonnay sourced from our beloved Bassham vineyard in Barmera, this pet nat is true to our style – effervescent, clean and crisp, fruit forward and drinkable as hell.
This is a true pet nat, with primary ferment finishing in the can to create that lovely fizz and elevating the pure fruit and freshness in the wine. A cooler year in 2022 allowed the Albarino to shine, and we’re getting all those lovely citrusy, floral characters you expect from this variety, as well as the salty, acid driven finish. The Chardonnay gives that nice citrus fruit character and complements the Albarino perfectly.
