Thilbault Charnay made his first vintage in 2019. With years as a grape grower under his belt, he was convinced by his cousin Raphaël (Domaine Saint-Cyr) to make his own wine. A rising star with 12 hectares of certified organic vines and more cuvées to follow. This is 100% gamay, cold carbonic fermentation for one week and rested in concrete for six months. Raw and pure with crunchy red fruits, a mineral backbone and juicy acidity. Wild strawberry, sour cherry, dried rose and some pepper. Light and breezy juice, can take a chill.
