Freak by name, Freak by nature. Zibbibo is one of those grapes that just loves to be hung out for a while in the winery, which is why we go full-ham with the skin-contact regime here. Almost 2 months in the tank with skin and juice mingling and developing texture, structure, and weight in the wine.. all good things. The nose is WILDLY expressive and intense, but the palate is more subdued and fresh than you may expect. It’s got mountains of character and reminds me of peach iced tea and lemonade.
Equivalent of 4 bottles of wine, crazy value. Lasts 6-8 weeks once opened, keep refrigerated.
