HVD vineyard was the original Penfolds Hunter Valley Distillery planted in 1908. Our Sacred Sites wines are made using fruit from some of the oldest, still-producing vineyards in the world each vine planted more than 100 years ago. Made from pre-phylloxera vines over 100 years old and grown on their own roots. Having survived the test of time, these ancient vines consistently make exceptional winds that have their own distinct character and unique qualities.

An iconic estate dating back to the mid-19th century, Tyrrell's is home to some of the oldest vines in the world. More traditional than most producers you'll find here, however truly dynamic and progressive with fifth-generation winemaker Chris Tyrrell at the helm.
