Nice palate weight here: very lifted and aromatic nose. There is some fruit weight evident, but the palate is crystal-clear with a rocky/mineral edge. Lots of acid, lots of tension, crushed rock, quite serious stuff. Much weightier than anything from Clare - closer to a Crawford River Riesling in style. Shape is kept nicely by the acid line. Served blind to two people who both said Chenin. - Ches Cook, FWC.
