Handpicked from the certified organic Windowrie Vineyard in Canowindra & from the Cargo Road Vineyard in Orange, practicing organics. Picqupoul Blanc, Riesling & Semillon were destemmed and wild fermented on skins for 3 weeks in stainless steel before being pressed to old french oak barrels, where it matured for a further 6 months on gross lees. Bottled unfiltered & zero additions.
"This is a blend of picqupoul blanc, riesling and semillon. All grapes were destemmed and fermented on skins for 3 weeks before being pressed to old french oak barrels. This has come to be known as our "house style" by focusing on tannin and acidity and letting the aromatics be the side focus. Riesling on skins is an amazing component in this wine that will scratch the itch for orange wine drinkers, whilst also maintaining our focus on freshness and texture." - Bob & Tom Colman
