KING GONZO HAS RETURNED. Old vine McLaren Vale Grenache from Fi Wood in Blewitt Springs blended with young Cinsault from Wayne Ahrens. Carbonic matrimony for 3 weeks. Foot crushed and macerated for a couple of days before pressing about halfway to dryness and finished as a blend in tank before heading to large old barrels. Ferment usually takes around 6 weeks but the results are worth it.
Renowned importer and industry favourite Tim Stock also makes some seriously good wine. Working out of the Commune of Buttons shed in the Basket Range, Tim strives to produce savoury, terroir-driven wines that speak of place.
