Pinot Blanc is closely related to Pinot noir and Pinot Gris and is a relatively new variety in Australia. Its otherwise found in Germany, Alsace and Northern Italy but it's ability to retain freshness of flavour and acid make it perfectly at home and a good sustainable option here in Australian. We love this variety for its ability to convey place and its beautiful texture.
This wine smells and tastes of fresh and dried apple, poached pears, fennel seed and ginger, there are plenty of layers here. The wine has a beautiful juicy/round mouthfeel with fresh acid keeping everything vibrant and delicious.
