A classically styled Chardonnay rippling with Lucy M.’s unbridled purity and, of course, joie de vivre.
Anton's Le Petit is grown on cane-pruned vines on the alluvial black sandy soil of the Cemetery Block at the base of the Piccadilly Valley. Jenny and James Griggs tend the vines and are the sixth generation to farm that block.
The grapes were pressed as bunches, and only the free-run fraction was used for this wine, which fermented spontaneously in 680-litre vitrified ceramic eggs and aged on lees.
