Chalmers Vineyard, Merbein VIC. 100% Vermentino, hand picked, destemmed, wild ferment on skins for 48 hours, pressed to tank, racked to old puncheons for 9 months.
Fresh and bright, fennel, sea spray, pear and melon, with a gentle chalky texture.
"Pretty golden colour. Floral notes, dried flowers and fresh lilies, lime in tonic water, a bit of nutty savouriness. Savoury to taste too, nutty, a little white balsamic tangy but refreshing in that way, some nuttiness to finish, more of the tonic water sweet-bitterness going on. A little wild, a good zesty feel, nice to drink.”
