A somewhat different take on the Australian Classic. McLaren Vale Shiraz and Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon, bridging across the state, grape varieties and generations of wine drinkers. Despite the Cabernet being a minor component, one can't ignore it; it shines through and through. Cassis, dark plum, and an old leather wallet with paper bills still in it. Shiraz provides the soft tannins, tightly wound with the natural acidity. Opens up in many ways, once the cork is out.
