Pinot Gris grown at the base of Lalgambuk (Mount Franklin). This is pale stone fruits, Pink Lady apple, pear and toffee. Short and crisp but with great balance and weight. It’s got a touch of residual sugar which works with a sappy bitterness to get everyone singing in harmony. Direct pressed, the juice left in open vats overnight to brown up. It was then locked away over winter before bottling straight from tank without interruption or interference.
