60/40 Grenache/Carignan on schist; 90% 2022/10% 2021; separately carbonic macerated then blended and raised together in stainless steel for six months.
Castelmaure is a 102-year-old co-op based in rocky Corbières in France’s southwest. They make unfussed, guzzleable wine from well-farmed plots around the region and have cultivated long-term relationships with many of their intergenerational farmers.
