This is 100% pinot blanc, which is wild considering the grape is one of four ancestral varieties that together only make up 0.3% of total growth in the region. Manually harvested from a single plot with vines dating back to 1904. Dosage 4g/L. Limited to 3000 bottles each year.

8th generation grower, 4th generation winemaker Aurélien looks after the Gerbais domaine today. The family converted to organics in the nineties after seeing the effects chemicals had on their grandmother. They also hold the oldest pinot blanc vines in the region, one of the rarer grapes allowed in the Champagne AOC.
